  • Cookies and Cookie dough
  • Jams, Jellies, Preserves
  • Syrup and Honey
  • Ice Cream, Yogurt, Sherbet
  • Sugared Cold Drinks
  • Hot Chocolate
  • Malts and Milk Shakes
  • Donuts and Pastries

If you concentrate on eating complex carbohydrates, you will not crave sugar.

use this opportunity to sample all of the different varieties of good whole grain breads. Shop the bread department as you previously shopped the cookie and cake section. Potatoes and vegetables are also rich in complex carbohydrates. Previously, you have associated breads and potatoes with being "fattening." Begin to move away from this kind of thinking.
